Got Questions says:
All of this is to say that
All of this is to say that
the Bible gives scant information about what exactly Christ did for the three days between His death and resurrection.
The only thing we know for sure is that, according to Jesus’ own words on the cross, He went to paradise. We can also say with confidence that, His work of redemption finished, Jesus did not have to suffer in hell.
What?????
That is not what I find in the Bible! There is plenty of Old Testament prophecies and New Testament revelation that has to be examined and pulled together to create Chronology. But be to a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth are far few and in-between.
Most are content to not open their Bible to challenge tradition. They believe it is true without question and parrot it as a settled fact.
Others parrot what others have said in their own studies, sermons or books with out being Bereans to see if it is true. They do not test the assumptions in these studies.
