Strange Bedfellows: Olive Tree Ministries, Prophecy Watchers and Jonathan Cahn, Hope for the World

How did Jan Markel and Olive Tree Ministries get associated with the False Prophet Jonathan Cahn, and the Nephilim Eschatology of Mondo Gonzales, Co-Host of Prophecy Watchers, L. A. Marzulli, Frequent Guest at Prophecy Watchers and Larry Ollison, Senior Pastor of WOW Faith Church?

These are strange bedfellows. The connection is with Prophecy Waters and Gary Stearman who is sponsoring The Orlando Prophecy Summit.

This event was brought to my attention by a post on Facebook by Famine in the Land.

The discussions on this thread ranged from "
Jonathan Cahn does not claim to be a prophet. He is a good teacher of the Word and not perfect, of course." to "I am disappointed, thought Jan would know better. Calls into question the discernment"

Jan Markell and Olive Tree Ministries
are actually a part of compromised Christianity.  She is part of the Neo-Evangelical Movement so she does not practice the doctrine of ecclesiastical separation as Paul taught in 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1.

Neo-Evangelicals are a lot like King Jehoshaphat whom the prophet Jehu rebuked:
2 Chronicles 19: When Jehoshaphat king of Judah returned safely to his palace in Jerusalem, 2 Jehu the seer, the son of Hanani, went out to meet him and said to the king,
Rebuke for compromising :
“Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord?
Condemnation for compromising:
Because of this, the wrath of the Lord is on you.
Commendation for obedience against Idolatry and for seeking the Lord from his heart:
vs. 3 There is, however, some good in you, for you
  1. have rid the land of the Asherah poles and
  2. have set your heart on seeking God.”

Even Peter, a believer and Apostle compromised the truth of the gospel when the Judaizers came to Antioch. This did not make him a false teacher for caving in to appease the Judaizers. The same is true for Jan and the other sound Prophecy teachers who will be speaking at this Summit with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Mondo Gonzales, L. A. Marzulli, and Larry Ollison.

Paul had to rebuke Peter for his compromise:

Galatians 2:11 When Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12 For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group. 13 The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.

14 When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all, “You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?

15 “We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles 16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in[d] Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

We who can discern truth from error need to rebuke this cooperation of these strange bedfellows. This is why the doctrine of separation is so important in these last days (1 Timothy 4:1 & 2 and 2 Timothy 4:3 & 4)

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[b]? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?
7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

False Teacher of the Day #58: Jonathan Cahn

It is appropriate that we continue to warn Christians about the dangerous teachings of Jonathan Cahn, who positions himself as a modern-day prophet and decoder of biblical mysteries. Despite numerous bold predictions about economic collapses and national disasters, Cahn has yet to provide a prophecy that has come true, demonstrating the falsehood of his claims.

There are three other false teachers at this Prophecy Summit....

They are Mondo Gonzales, Co-Host of Prophecy Watchers,  L. A. Marzulli, Frequent Guest at Prophecy Watchers and Larry Ollison, Senior Pastor of WOW Faith Church.

They teach the Serpent Seed doctrine and Nephilim Eschatology:

Giants and Prophecy: Breaking Down the Ancient Battle Happening Today

When Mondo Gonzales talks about giants in the Bible, he’s not speaking metaphorically. In an interview with Charisma Media, the archaeologist and prophecy expert with Prophecy Watchers deep-dives into the biblical and historical roots of giants like the Nephilim, Rephaim and Anakim—and the modern implications of these ancient beings.

Portals, UFOs and Demons: L.A. Marzulli’s Alarming Supernatural Warning

L.A. Marzulli, a prominent Christian researcher and author, has long warned against seeing UFOs and extraterrestrial phenomena as harmless or merely speculative. In a recent interview with Charisma Media, he challenges both believers and skeptics to consider an unsettling proposition: what if UFOs are not distant visitors from another galaxy, but manifestations of a darker, interdimensional reality?

Marzulli’s perspective, rooted in biblical interpretation and years of investigation, asserts that UFOs are not evidence of friendly “space brothers” but rather, “interdimensional beings with a very nefarious, dark agenda.” He ties this phenomenon to biblical warnings, suggesting that these entities are actually manifestations of demonic forces. “Men faint for fear for what’s coming upon the Earth,” he quotes from Luke 21:26, underscoring the gravity of what we can expect in the end times.

The teaching that is bringing these strange bedfellows together through Prophecy Watchers is the Serpent Seed Doctrine and the Nephilim Eschatology. The majority of Christians have been influenced by this growing teaching among celebrity Prophecy teachers, but have no idea of how this teaching is drawing them away from the normal reading of the Bible concerning Bible prophecy through the literal, historical and grammatical, dispensational interpretation.

The New Prophetic Paradigm

101 Questions Regarding Genesis 6 and Matthew 24

https://herescope.net/2013/04/101-questions-about-nephilim.html

(This is) an extensive list of questions compiled by members of the Discernment Research Group who have taken considerable time to research the rise in popularity of prophetic teachings involving “the Nephilim” among certain evangelicals, especially on the part of those who in the past have taught biblical prophecy from a dispensational and pre-tribulation rapture perspective. With the revival of interest in the antediluvian Nephilim and the role their emergence played in the spread of global corruption at the time of Noah (Compare Genesis 6:1-5 and Matthew 24:37-41), there has, in an attempt to relate these creatures to apocalyptic scenarios, arisen a corresponding reliance upon ancient and modern extra-biblical sources. These non-canonical sources include apocrypha and pseudepigraphical writings, pagan mythologies, astrology, signs and symbols of Freemasonry, UFO lore, quantum physics, science fiction, secret codes and symbols, etc. For the sake of identification, the inclusion of these heterodox sources to create prophetic scenarios might be called “the new prophetic paradigm.

Yet this “new prophetic paradigm” raises questions. For example, what do the Scriptures by themselves communicate about the Nephilim? What do the Scriptures have to say about the issues raised by modern-day proponents of Nephilim theories? And in view of the “other” sources employed to create the new-prophetic scenarios, it must be asked, are the Scriptures in and by themselves no longer a sufficient guide to understand Bible prophecy (i.e., the Reformation doctrine of sola scriptura)?

I have done further research about this Prophecy Summit by Prophecy Watchers and connected the strange bedfellows and how they came together. I created the chart below to tie this together.

Acts 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God,[a] which he bought with his own blood.[b] 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.

32 “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Behold, I Come Quickly: Hang On! – Gary Stearman

Jan and Gary Stearman remind listeners we have a date with destiny and encourage listeners to hang on a bit longer. Many are weary from the 2 Timothy 3 “selfish climate” even among believers. If you love the message that the King is coming, you likely feel alone and isolated. Jan and Gary have a word for you.
